Traits:White or colorless diamond or needle crystals. Odorless. The relative density is 1.788. It is not easy to deliquescence, but it can be weathered and lose crystal water. Dehydrate and decompose above 80°C and release silicon tetrafluoride gas. It is easily soluble in water, soluble in dilute acid, hardly soluble in hydrofluoric acid, and insoluble in alcohol. The aqueous solution is acidic. Corresponding fluoride and silica can be generated when it reacts with alkali. poisonous!
Usages:Mainly used as a hardener and waterproofing agent for the hardness and strength of concrete.It is also used in the fluorine weathering treatment of the surface of silica buildings, used in the manufacture of ceramics, and used to prevent insects on the fabric.Can be used as pesticides and other aspects.
