Used as a regulator and flux in the process of aluminum electrolysis. 3. Used as a catalyst in the synthesis of organic compounds and organofluorine compounds. 4. Used as improver of refractive index of lenses and prisms. 5. Used to manufacture fluorinated glass with small "light loss" in infrared spectroscopy. 6. Used as an inhibitor in the alcohol production process.
